The conflict of this novel is humanity vs aliens. Why? the Aliens are trying to get rid of the human population on Earth, so they can take the planet for its resources. The conflict evolves throughout the novel by growing far more intense. Humanity is growing to become more aware of the severe lengths the aliens will go to. Humanity acts on its awareness and fights against the aliens to fight to defend planet earth.
The conflict Cassie had to face was person vs person. Evan shoots Cassie in the leg when he sees her, injuring her. She hides under a car, knowing that if she would leave from under the car she will bleed to death or get an infection. It's then resolved by Evan nursing Cassie.
At the end of the novel, Cassie and Evan had killed the Silencer and had ran to the Evacuation plane.
Cassie, Evan, Sammy and Ben had safety flew away from their home and on the go for their new journey. If it wasn't for Evan to nurse Cassie, she wouldn't have saved her Brother and they would possibly all die from the extraterrestrial invasion.
Question
If you were in this conflict, would you want to stay alive or pass on with your life? If so, why?
I would want to stay alive. I would do this because I would want to fight the aliens if there is even the slightest chance that Human race will survive if I do ill take it. I would fight no matter what the cost to myself is because what would be better for humanity you killing yourself or you bring the fight to the aliens.
